Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will help discourage security-related incidents while working with an agile, reliable team that puts people first, values innovation, and acts with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access support, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document details through required reports and communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas while assisting with visitor screening, employee access questions, and policy awareness in a professional manner consistent with Allied Universal standards.
  • Support day-to-day operations by observing customer traffic, reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns, and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
