About The Position

You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor badge procedures. Using a computer and/or tablet, you will document observations, communicate clearly with teams onsite, and deliver a people-first customer service experience with integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office, studio, and campus areas, including exterior perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor management processes, and help to maintain orderly lobby and/or reception flow as required by the location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and local responders when needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate updates to supervision and/or client contacts per site procedures.
