Job Description As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Driver in Litchfield Park, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as needed. This is a driving position, offering the opportunity to be an essential part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and perimeter areas of the location, including both indoor and outdoor environments.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrols and attentive presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide assistance and relay important information.
