About The Position

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Bike Shift in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting students, staff, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the location.
Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities when required to support a secure environment for the community.
