Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Entry Patrol in City Of Industry, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and general inquiries within the location.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related needs and support site operations.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a welcoming environment.
