As a Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Patrol Driver in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure environment at the location.
