As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will actively monitor and patrol the location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
Assist visitors and staff with directions, information, and general inquiries as needed.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
