As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, demonstrating reliability and integrity, and supporting our team-driven and people-first culture while performing your security-related responsibilities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as required, and monitoring entry and exit points.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
