Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document activity, support access control and/or badging, and assist tenants and visitors with clear, professional communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Having customer service experience is preferred.
Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors and/or contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies and emergency response procedures at a commercial property.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading areas and parking areas, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity by verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed and providing clear direction to occupants.
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations and maintenance concerns to site representatives, and use security-related systems such as radios, cameras and access control as assigned.
