You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control procedures and provide information as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following the protocols established for government locations.
