As a Security Officer - Building Patrol Specialist in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an automotive-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, particularly in areas where vehicles and technical equipment are present.
Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access when necessary.
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, and any security-related observations or actions taken.
