As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site instructions.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
