About The Position

As a Security Officer Corporate Building Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a professional office location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support a polished environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor front desk operations, greet visitors, manage access control processes, and verify identification and visitor information in accordance with property protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Support daily lobby and reception area activities by maintaining awareness of building entry points, observing unusual activity, and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Assist with badge distribution, visitor logs, package handling, and other front desk administrative duties connected to security-related operations and tenant service expectations.
