About The Position

As a Security Officer - Building Access Control Unarmed Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience are required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations at the location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
