Job Description As a Security Officer - Bilingual Spanish Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response protocols as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, offices, public areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry points, restricted areas, and key assets for unusual conditions, and report concerns using required radio and/or telephone procedures.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports, incident notes, and patrol logs, and assist with crowd direction during events and peak visitation periods.
