As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related issues, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to incidents, and document observations as needed, bringing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting clinical staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas; assist with wayfinding and de-escalation when appropriate, following site protocols.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain logs of patrols, incidents, and observations; communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
