About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and escalating concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe customer and employee traffic, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy concerns in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
  • Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation in a timely manner per Allied Universal and site requirements.
