Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including alerting appropriate personnel and providing relevant information.
Maintain a professional presence at the front desk, answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with inquiries as appropriate.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site contacts, and emergency services when required.
