As a Security Officer - Bank Entry Monitor in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and visitors at the financial institution location.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to support security-related procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and offering directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific guidelines and protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during patrols or at access points.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
