As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support customer service while coordinating with site staff and law enforcement as needed. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Carry a firearm in accordance with licensing requirements, company policy, and post orders; maintain appropriate weapon retention, storage, and documentation practices while on duty.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter; monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs; communicate observations and patrol findings to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
