You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with calm, clear communication. This role calls for an armed guard card or license, strong professionalism, and a customer-focused approach. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the interior, exterior, perimeter, parking areas and/or access points, with regular and random patrol patterns based on site needs.
  • Monitor access control and visitor management processes, including screening, verifying credentials, controlling entry to restricted areas and documenting entries and exits as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with on-site leadership and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete timely security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or client contacts and assist with investigations of theft, fraud-related activity and/or policy violations.
