Job Description As a Security Officer - Badge Verification in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support orderly site operations. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and document security-related activity while communicating clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed. Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking identification, validating credentials, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor logs and access records. Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity and/or system issues in accordance with post orders and escalation protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting events for management review. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or security-related incidents, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Minimum Requirements: Have 1+ years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
