You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and conduct routine patrols to help identify and report unusual activity. Using teamwork and integrity, you will communicate clearly with site personnel, respond to alarms and/or access issues, and deliver reliable, people-first customer service in a fast-moving environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sun 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response guidelines as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or guard shacks by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing key and badge control, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
  • Monitor entry points and restricted areas using security-related systems such as CCTV and access control platforms, and report irregular activity, alarms, and/or policy violations through established communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
