About The Position

As a Security Officer - Badge Verification Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service. You will help maintain a visible presence that supports security-related operations while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
Be 21+ Years of Age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and customer-facing areas, directing foot traffic as needed and observing for suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or potential policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or public emergency services when required.
Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic logs, following post orders and escalation guidelines.
