Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocols and documenting key details as needed.
Monitor restricted and controlled areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and support compliance with badging, escort, and visitor management requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and other security-related concerns in varying environments and conditions.
Communicate clearly with employees, visitors, supervisors, and/or emergency contacts while maintaining accurate logs, reports, and records related to access activity and site events.
