Job Description As a Security Officer - Badge Services in Earth City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, check badges and credentials, greet employees and visitors, and document activity. You will remain visible, support routine rounds as needed, and communicate clearly to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor and contractor check-in, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and maintaining required logs.
  • Screen and route deliveries, drivers, and trailers by following site procedures for inbound and outbound traffic flow, directing vehicles to designated areas, and documenting exceptions for management review.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; report suspicious activity and policy violations to appropriate contacts to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting on-site response actions.
