About The Position

As a Security Officer - Badge Screening in Lexington, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a food and beverage production location, you will support access control by checking credentials, managing visitor and delivery entry, monitoring cameras, and completing routine patrols of assigned areas. You will stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document activity with computer or tablet tools, and provide clear, respectful customer service. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by checking identification, issuing visitor badges, verifying appointments and maintaining visitor, contractor and delivery logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound deliveries and trailers by confirming shipping and receiving documentation, directing drivers to designated areas and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms and access control systems, documenting activity and communicating observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas and the perimeter as assigned.
