Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will support access control operations by checking credentials, managing visitor and driver entry, and monitoring assigned areas for security-related concerns. You will remain visible, conduct routine rounds as needed, document activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or entry points by verifying identification, reviewing delivery and visitor documentation, issuing badges when authorized, and directing drivers, employees, and visitors to the proper area.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow for trailers, parcel vehicles, and vendors, coordinating with site contacts to help maintain orderly entry and exit and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs such as visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.
