Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control at entry points, verify credentials and badges, and support smooth visitor and employee flow. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution facility.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing drivers to designated check-in areas.
  • Monitor security-related systems and camera views, report irregular activity, and/or coordinate with site contacts when assistance is needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating concerns through the proper chain of communication.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including docks, staging areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
