About The Position

As a Security Officer - Badge Checkpoint in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage access control by greeting employees and visitors, checking credentials, and supporting site entry and exit procedures. You will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and document security-related observations while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, working as a team and acting with integrity to help maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and/or employee checkpoints by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
• Screen and process incoming and outgoing deliveries by coordinating with receiving staff, checking shipping documentation, and directing drivers to designated staging areas in accordance with site access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including monitoring doors, docks, and restricted areas; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
