As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves managing access points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures for personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the auto manufacturing location, following established protocols.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Provide customer service by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and directing individuals as needed based on site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and report findings as required.
Maintain accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal and/or client procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
