As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
