As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with team members and visitors, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly in all situations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the auto industry location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members, site personnel, and visitors to address security-related concerns and inquiries as needed.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
