As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns in accordance with company guidelines.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and uphold site protocols.
Remain alert to surroundings and changing conditions throughout the shift while maintaining a visible presence.
Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and adhere to post orders specific to the automotive environment.
