About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors, team members, and/or site personnel regarding incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the automotive location.
