About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Driver in Avon Lake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This is a driving post, and you will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle patrols while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying identification, and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding the security-related standards of the location.
Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner, documenting all incidents and security-related observations.
