As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Driver in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in the automotive industry, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for our client's location. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving during your patrols. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related issues to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required for the auto industry environment.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide information and assistance as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Follow all Allied Universal procedures and guidelines as well as any site-specific protocols relevant to the auto industry.
