As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the automotive environment.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors as needed while performing patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
