About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Site Unarmed Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the automotive industry, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or conditions within the location, including parking lots, entry points, and restricted areas.
Communicate clearly and professionally with facility staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting irregularities as required.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols.
