As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with location personnel and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client instructions while adapting to the unique requirements of the auto industry environment.
