Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with location personnel and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client instructions while adapting to the unique requirements of the auto industry environment.
