About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Agent in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering excellent customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location by vehicle as well as on foot, making a positive impact every day.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and first aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the automotive facility.
Communicate with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while performing patrol duties.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies.
Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols relevant to the automotive environment.
