Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures for an automotive facility.
- Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises, maintaining accurate records as required by site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by assisting with directions, answering questions, and addressing security-related concerns in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
- Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports as required, documenting observations and actions taken during assigned shifts.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to communicate security-related updates and share relevant information.
