Job Description As a Security Officer - Auto Auction Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive between assigned areas to help identify and report security-related concerns. You will remain highly visible, document observations, assist with access control checks, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a tech, media, and/or telecom location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity during patrols, assisting with badge compliance and/or directing employees, contractors, and visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Complete routine patrol logs and incident reports, noting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions for follow-up through established site procedures.
