Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer in an automotive environment, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and providing exceptional customer service. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk area.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities and provide information or directions to visitors and employees when appropriate.
