As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols using a vehicle. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, particularly within automotive settings.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing assigned duties.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns as they arise.
