About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Patrol Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned automotive locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for moving throughout the property and maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in every interaction.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to observe and report any unusual conditions or activities.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed during incidents and/or emergency situations.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the automotive location.
