As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure workplace. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Assist with implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and protocols.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or policy violations according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations or other procedures when appropriate.
Communicate and coordinate with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency services as required.
