Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized access to designated areas within the automotive location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report findings as required.
- Document security-related incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
- Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and management while maintaining a visible presence at access control points.
- Support site-specific security-related operations and participate in emergency response activities as directed.
