About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Entry Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional at an auto manufacturing location, you will focus on access control duties, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees and visitors, while working with a team that values integrity, agility, and caring culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to company procedures.
  • Assist with site-specific tasks such as visitor management, vehicle inspections, and monitoring of security-related systems as required in an auto industry environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
