You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Control access at entrances and gates by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor registration, and directing guests to the proper contact and/or destination.
Monitor and manage vehicle and truck entry and exit, including verifying appointments and paperwork, checking deliveries and pickups, and documenting activity per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Complete detailed reports on access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
