You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Control access at entrances and gates by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor registration, and directing guests to the proper contact and/or destination.
  • Monitor and manage vehicle and truck entry and exit, including verifying appointments and paperwork, checking deliveries and pickups, and documenting activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to reduce the risk of unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed reports on access activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.
